Positive: My stay at Bendigo Ridge was honestly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, Megan and Barry made me feel so genuinely welcome. Their warmth and kindness set the tone for the whole stay. The house is the perfect balance of luxury and comfort — beautiful high-quality linen, thoughtful details throughout, and a cosy atmosphere that makes it so easy to relax. The locally sourced food and wine were exceptional, and Megan’s homemade dessert was such a special touch. Sitting outside in the heated seating area as the sun set over the vineyards was one of those moments you wish you could bottle up. I was even lucky enough to see the eclipse and blood moon, which made the evening feel even more magical. Although it’s only 15 minutes from Cromwell, it feels like a peaceful escape in its own little world, surrounded by vineyards and stunning tussock landscapes. Whether you want to relax with a book in the sun, explore local hikes, or simply enjoy a glass of wine and good conversation with the hosts, you can truly make the experience your own. This isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a genuine Kiwi getaway. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning my return.
